校內教師培訓:DP中文A評估(1)

2016年10月19日,王府IB中心呂昆錚老師圍繞“DP中文A評估”的校內培訓,讓老師們對DP中文課程有了初步的了解。 首先,呂老師講授了中文課程的學科性質與課程種類。中文A屬于DP第一學科組,共有文學、語言與文學、文學與表演藝術三門課程。其中文學、語言與文學兩門課,有高級課程(HL)和普通課程(SL)之分。DP學校綜合考慮學校、授課教師和學生等情況,開設相應類型和水平適當的課程。 接著,呂老師重點介紹了中文A的4部分授課內容:翻譯作品、精讀作品、同體裁作品與自選作品。學生需要學習并分析不同時代、不同地區和不同體裁的文學作品(高水平課程需學習13部文學作品,普通水平課程需學習10部文學作品),并完成相應評估作業。至于學生學習哪些文學作品,DP中文老師可以根據IB大綱要求自行選擇,并將書單提交給IB組織。這與使用固定教材的傳統的語文教學完全不同。 此外,呂老師還介紹了DP中文A課程的5種評估方式:書面作業(WA)、個人口頭評論(IOC)、個人口頭報告(IOP)、試卷一、試卷二。由于不同評估方式進行的時間不同,呂老師對教學流程的安排給出了合理建議。 培訓結束后,許多教師就教材選取、評估標準等內容進行了提問,與呂老師進行了熱烈的交流、討論。 DP Chinese A Assessment (1) Mr. Lv Kunzheng from IB Center held an in-school workshop on October 19, 2016. His topic is about the assessment of DP Chinese A, introducing the basic knowledge of DP Chinese to all the teachers. At the beginning, Mr. Lv gave a brief introduction about Chinese Language A characteristics and its classification. DP has six subject groups and Chinese Language A belongs to Group 1, which consists of three courses: Literature, Language and literature, Literature and performance. Both Literature and Language and literature course are offered at SL and HL. DP schools offer relevant courses at different levels according to its teaching resources and students’ needs. Mr. Lv introduced that Chinese Language A includes four parts: Works in translation, Detailed study, Literary genres and Options. Students need to study a range of works from different periods, styles and genres (students study thirteen literary works at HL and ten works at SL) and achieve their assessment outcomes. Students can choose literary works according to the book list that IBO prescribed, which is totally different from traditional Chinese teaching materials. Moreover, Mr. Lv explained assessment components: Written assignment, Individual oral commentary, Individual oral presentation, Paper 1 and Paper 2 and gave suggestions about how to arrange a better schedule when teacher teaches Chinese A. At the Q&A section, Mr.Lv and some of the participant teachers discussed several topics including how to choose textbooks and further details about assessment standard. Teachers expressed they had learnt a lot during this workshop and are looking forward to the next one coming.
